The world’s longest river roars to life as the White
Nile minutes after slipping quietly from Lake Victoria.
It thunders between heavily forested islands and then
leaps wildly into a series of spectacular rapids. This
segment of the river Nile has numerous waterfalls
and rapids. The rapids here are of various grades,
ranging from grade two to grade seven.
The most famous of these rapids are: Bujagali water
falls which is the most famous and visited and are
a grade five rapids. Travel downstream the Nile
from Bujagali and you will come across a number
of grade threes and fours and after these rapids you
encounter the gigantic grade six rapids famously
known as the Itanda falls. Murchison falls which is
graded as the class seven (7)
